Los Angeles foodies, brace yourselves for the third year of culture, wine, and delectable cuisine created by the world’s finest chefs. The Los Angeles Food and Wine Festival is coming our way, from August 22-25 in Downtown, and select locations in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica.

During this once-a-year, four-day event, the best in the food and wine business come together to provide patrons with an array of culinary and drink delights. As the festival’s website states, the extravaganza is an “epicurean event that matches celebrities from television, film, music and sport with celebrity chefs to enjoy the very best in food and drink culture throughout Los Angeles.”

This year, enjoy different entertainment daily, including celebrity chef’s Masaharu Morimoto’s cooking demonstration, Giada De Laurentiis’ Festa Italiana, and wine/libation seminars including Bacon & Bourbon with Chef Edward Lee.

Perhaps most noteworthy is day one’s “dinner of a lifetime.” The Founder’s Dinner is an invite-only, intimate feast featuring only the most delicious and rare foods and wines. Only 24 guests will enjoy this amazing experience, which is so exclusive, that even the location is not revealed.

For avid food and wine connoisseurs, the VIP Package is an ideal option. This package will provide access to five amazing cooking demonstrations and tastings.

Over 100 wineries and vineyards will be present at 2013’s festival. Go here for a full list of wineries. Clicking on each winery’s square will direct you to more information on that particular vineyard, including a full list of festival events where the wine will be served.

Other festival happenings include culinary-related book signings, “Lexus Grand Tastings,” and plenty of after parties.
