GO SEE THIS → Alice + Olivia x Grateful Dead Runway Show at Hollywood’s NeueHouse April 13. The Neiman Marcus-powered event will showcase the collection and some limited-edition pieces from the spring 2016 collection. This festival ready line includes embroidered tees, beaded skirts, footwear and accessories. AND SHOP IT HERE → The collection will be shoppable online following the show, with select pieces available at Neiman’s Beverly Hills store.

LET THE MAGIC BEGIN HERE  → At The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, officially opening April 7. The much-anticipated theme land at Universal Studios Hollywood is based on J.K. Rowling’s wildly popular Harry Potter books and movies, offering fans and muggles alike magical rides, performances, shops and restaurants. “Let us step into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.”

The ‘smart’ juicing machine presses ready-prepped pouches of raw fruits and veggies into healthy juices in seconds. DOWNLOAD THIS → Slack. If your company doesn’t use Slack for its online communications, you’re missing out. Our in-house creative team has been using it for the past year and doesn’t plan on turning back anytime soon. Slack offers an easy way to chat with individuals or groups (private or open channels) as well as share files, links and our personal favourites  GIF’s. With desktop and mobile versions, you can stay connected to what’s happening in the office whether you’re there or on the run.

HEAD TO → Dodger Stadium as the boys in blue kick off their home season with an April 12-14 series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. You can also wait until Friday Night Fireworks on April 15 when a new series starts against the Giants. Either way, in honor of the season, have one too many Dodger Dogs than normal.

The on-site 15-barrel brewhouse is capable of producing 3,300 barrels of beer each year. Play ping pong, darts or skeeball while sipping on the Traction IPA or one of the daily $5 beer specials. Grab a bite from Chef Neal Fraser’s adjoining Fritzi through the take-out window.

WATCH THIS → The Rooftop Film Club returns for a second season with movies on the Montálban’s rooftop. The club, known for exceptional films and an assortment of booze and bites, takes full advantage of the rooftop view’s and space. No need to wait in line with your picnic basket, chairs and blankets— RFC provides you with your own comfy chair, blankets on request and wireless headphones for your listening pleasure. The club kicks-off with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Hurry, most of April’s showing are already sold out.

HANG WITH FURRY FRIENDS HERE → The Dog Café opens its doors April 7. Angelenos can sip lattes while petting shelter dogs. Serving up coffee (Grounds & Hounds), tea and snacks as guests bond with the shop’s dogs. There is a $10 entrance fee that includes a beverage, and dog lovers can hang out in the playroom and have some fun. The dogs are all adoptable, courtesy of the café’s partnership with local shelters.
