Jason Glasgow is Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner of the Development Group at The Agency. In these two separate, clearly defined roles, Jason will work in collaboration with The Agency’s founders and managing partners to put a series of exceptional standards and best practices in place to further expand the capabilities of the organization. Jason brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership, real estate private equity, development, finance and asset management to The Agency’s seasoned management team.

As COO, Jason will work with the executive staff to institute initiatives to broaden The Agency’s reach and services locally and globally, while maintaining its culture of collaboration and innovation. He will leverage his experience in building organizations to explore the next evolutionary step for The Agency, which has led the modernization of the real estate industry since its inception.

In his role as Managing Partner of The Agency’s Development Group, Jason will help define the next level of standards in the realm of signature luxury real estate development. The Development Group has already redefined how new development projects are represented and now strives to answer demand from investors, developers and consumers for a more efficient way of doing business. Jason and the Development Group will explore ways to improve and professionalize the development process in order to make lasting changes to how projects are conceptualized, developed and brought to market.

Prior to joining The Agency, Jason was Executive Vice President for a subsidiary of Westbrook Partners, a top ten global real estate private equity firm, responsible for its residential development platform in the Western United States. At Westbrook, he and his team drove the approval and development of more than 1,000 homes and apartments over a six-year period, ranging from luxury mid-rise condominiums to semi-custom single family homes in gated communities. These projects outperformed projections and the larger residential market by a wide margin.

Earlier in his career, Jason served as the Managing Principal at Landcap Partners, a Goldman Sachs/Northstar distressed-asset platform, responsible for investing more than $300 million of equity in development assets across the West. Before Landcap, Jason ran the Los Angeles office of O’Donnell/Atkins, which at the time was the most prolific development brokerage on the West Coast. He led the team involved in more than $1.2 billion in development transactions over five years, the majority of which were in Southern California in high-density urban environments.

Jason earned his degree in International Relations from San Francisco State University, and his MBA in Real Estate Finance from the University of California. He also served in the US Navy as a boat operator with theatres of operation including Central America, the Persian Gulf and Somalia. He is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute as a Council Member and is a regional leader with Team Rubicon, a nonprofit organization focused on helping military veterans assimilate to civilian life through public service and disaster relief.
