Alex Bird

Originally from England, Alex Bird has more than 10 years of professional experience and $1.5 billion dollars in real estate transactions to his name.

In 2005, Alex began his career with global real estate advisory firm Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, specializing in office and retail developments in London's financial district. Working with the senior partner, he completed the purchase of Britain's most expensive office building, 30 St Mary Axe, commonly known as The Gherkin, for ₤600M.

In 2007, Alex was awarded membership to the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. In 2009, Alex moved to Los Angeles to widen his business experience and work with The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. He specialized in store development and franchising, contributing to the growth of the company from 700 to 1,000+ locations in under two years.

Then, in 2012, Alex became involved with redevelopment of architectural and historically significant buildings into creative office and multi-family real estate. He subsequently obtained his real estate license and joined The Agency, where he could best put all his various business, marketing and real estate experiences to good use.

Alex received a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Management and Information Technology from Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, and a Masters of Arts in Property, Valuation & Law from Cass Business School, City University, London.
