Known for his stellar marketing skills, in-depth knowledge of the industry and outstanding reputation among his clients, The Agency’s Brian Selem specializes in residential and income-producing properties throughout Los Angeles. Having sold more than a quarter of a billion dollars worth of real estate over his nearly three-decade-long career, Brian holds extensive experience in the Westside neighborhoods of Mar Vista, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Westwood, Pacific Palisades, Beverly Hills, Cheviot Hills, Malibu, and Bel-Air.
Brian provides reliable, informed and personalized guidance to each of his clients and has built a reputation that has garnered him an impressive roster of repeat and referral business.
“I am 100% committed to providing excellent service for my clients, and I pride myself on my thoroughness and professionalism,” says Brian, a consistent high achiever touted as one of the Top Producers in the region. Brian is known as a straightforward, experienced negotiator who fights for his clients. “Growing up in New Jersey, I learned loyalty and to stand up for people in my care and whom I care about,” says Brian.
Prior to joining The Agency, Brian ranked among NRT’s Top 1,000 Sales Associates and the top 1% of over 76,000 agents nationwide. He also serves as a member of the Beverly Hills and Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors and has been featured in the Los Angeles Times for his exceptional sales production.
A graduate of UCLA, where he studied Business and Japanese (which he speaks fluently), Brian is an avid runner who has completed several marathons, including the New York Marathon in 1992, the Chicago Marathon in 1993 and five Los Angeles Marathons. “These experiences have helped me understand the effort it takes to prepare for any task and the mental toughness and fortitude it takes to bring it to successful completion,” says Brian.
When he is not spending time with his wife, Heidi and kids Brennan, Josh and Gianna, Brian can be found setting out for a long run, practicing his moves at Kenpo Karate or volunteering at his children’s schools. Brian also channels his passion for helping others into his volunteer work at the South Central at LA City Camp, an organization he has been involved with for more than 15 years.
