David Parnes

Originally from London, England, David brings English charm to the City of Angels. Co-founder of luxury real estate firm, Bond Street Partners, and now one of the top producers at The Agency, David and his longtime colleague, James Harris, have established themselves as two of the premier agents serving the Los Angeles luxury market.

Specializing in high-end residential real estate and investment properties in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Brentwood, Hollywood Hills, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, and the greater Los Angeles region, David and James’ no-nonsense approach to closing deals, coupled with their extensive network of high-net-worth international and domestic clients, resulted in the sale of over $165 million of real estate in 2014 and $232 million in 2015 and 2016. Following suit, 2017 has already proven to be a record-breaking year for the two with over $300 million in sales in the first quarter alone.

David and James’ vast portfolio of sales includes prized property on L.A.’s iconic Melrose Place, home to the boutiques of renowned designers such as Oscar De La Renta and Chloé, and the famed Hustler store on Sunset Boulevard for $18.5 million. Most recently, David and James represented the $30 million sale of 438 N. Faring Road in Holmby Hills, a deal in which they represented both the buyer and the seller; a $30 million sale at 200 N. Delfern in Holmby Hills, in which they represented both the buyer and the seller; plus a $25 million development opportunity in Bel Air and an $18 million development opportunity in Holmby Hills. The pair also represented the third-highest sale ever in Malibu for a staggering $69.9 million.

Building on this incredible success, they have expanded their listing inventory in 2017 to include a $40 million dollar Holmby Hills estate and two newly developed view estates in Bel Air listed for $45 million and $35 million. Their listing portfolio currently exceeds $275 million and includes some of the city’s most impressive properties with a wide range of listings in the $2-10 million range. Their exclusive clientele is comprised of countless celebrities, producers, business managers, agents, heads of Fortune 500 companies and numerous high-net-worth individuals.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics and Politics from the University of Manchester, David began working at a hedge fund before moving on to represent a private portfolio of real estate assets in Europe. While taking breaks from the London fog, David spent his summers in Los Angeles and was drawn to the sunshine, warm and friendly people and vast potential of the city’s real estate market. As a result, he made the decision to permanently call L.A. home in 2009. Since then, he he earned numerous industry accolades, including being named one of “Hollywood’s Top 25 Real Estate Agents” by The Hollywood Reporter in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 and counted among REAL Trends’ Top 1,000 Agents in America in 2015 and 2016.

David’s personal projects include the building and sale of a 4,200-square-foot contemporary home in West Hollywood and the purchase of a fixer property in the Bird Streets where he plans to live with his fiancée, Adrian, their two rescue Basset Hounds, Maxi and Bella, and Chihuahuas, Apoosh and Freddie. An avid animal lover, David donates regularly to animal charities. He is capping off a stellar year with a lavish wedding in the South of France this summer.
