Frank Buckley

Prior to UDP he was a Partner with Apollo Realty Advisors, L.P. in Los Angeles, a leading private equity firm which has invested over $13 billion in more than 570 transactions worldwide. He was responsible for business development, acquisitions, and negotiating JV equity partnerships. His formative career was in the capacity of Managing Director and shareholder of Ramsey-Shilling Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc., the dominant boutique player in the greater Hollywood submarket, where he participated in well over $1B in closed transactions across all property types. Parallel to his brokerage career, Mr. Buckley became a senior shareholder and Chief Financial Officer in the largest independently owned chain of youth hostels in North America with 300 employees in 4 States. A graduate of UCLA in Economics, Mr. Buckley is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a past Director of the CORE Network (an 85 member national network of local and regional commercial brokerage firms), Vice President of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of its Economic Development Committee, and Chairman of Los Angeles Mayor Riordan’s Hollywood Economic Alliance. He continues to maintain numerous political and civic affiliations. He was a Division I athlete on the UCLA Men’s Heavyweight Crew Team, and lives with his wife and son in Manhattan Beach, Ca.
