Irina Popova joins The Agency Ottawa as Managing Partner, bringing a passion for the area and eight years of nuanced local real estate knowledge to the brokerage. Seeing her clients’ real estate aspirations become reality is at the heart of her mission. She provides specialized insight into the central Ottawa market with a focus on luxury homes and condominium properties.

Fully honest and transparent, Irina doesn’t treat her job as a sales business—for her, it is truly about customer service and care. Her philosophy is simple: to always keep her clients’ best interests at heart and to use her professional knowledge of the real estate market to ensure their success. She has successfully led major sales campaigns at projects, including Stone Abbey, The Eddy, Cathedral Hill, Tamarack Wellington and Zibi.

Irina grew up in Siberia, Russia and moved to Canada when she was 14 years old. Prior to real estate, she received a diploma in the field of robotics. While it was a fascinating topic to study, she discovered the real estate world shortly after graduating and just couldn’t resist.

Additionally, her background in hospitality, banking and home hardware sales, gave her the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and gave her a deep understanding of what consumers are looking for.

In her free time, Irina lets her creative side shine as a member of two amazing local bands, The Hornettes and Sly High, and plays live music all over Ottawa, including Jazzfest and Bluesfest. She is a proud mother and a happy wife, who enjoys the simple things in life—family time, good food, great wine and travel.
