Karen Silver

A member of The Agency’s Sherman Oaks office, Karen Silver’s strong work ethic and natural talent for collaborating with others and building long-lasting relationships has garnered her a glowing reputation and a strong referral business. Highly knowledgeable of the real estate market up and down the California coast—where she has lived for more than two decades—Karen expertly guides clients through every step of a transaction, providing focused, concierge-level service and maintaining open communication throughout. As a Sherman Oaks resident and mom, Karen is an invaluable, on-the-ground resource regarding neighborhood details—such as school districts, restaurants, shopping, hiking trails and points of interest.



Born and raised in Chicago, Karen has also lived in Arizona, Washington D.C., Spain and New York. She began her career working for Major League Baseball in New York City, planning the events surrounding the World Series, All-Star Games and entertaining MLB’s top licensees. She has also worked in Promotions and Marketing at 20th Century Fox, General Motors and managing and marketing her husband, artist Stanley Silver.



A graduate of Indiana University, Karen studied Sports Marketing and Management and perfected her Spanish language skills while studying abroad in Seville, Spain. When she isn’t pursuing her clients’ real estate goals, Karen enjoys hiking, cooking, working out, relaxing with a latte and a good book and spending time with her family, which includes her two teenage boys, husband Stanley and their two dogs.
