Shantel Shimkus

A dedicated realtor with more than 15 years of industry experience, passion for exceeding clients’ expectations and deep appreciation for the Neapolitan lifestyle, Shantel Shimkus established The Agency Naples to help people find their dream homes along Florida’s West Coast, from Naples-Marco Island up to Tampa Bay. She roots every relationship in honesty and respect, working tirelessly to provide each client with not only the best possible deal but also an exceptional experience.

Shantel began her real estate career in 2006. She quickly learned how to navigate the challenges and opportunities of the market during the Great Recession, consistently growing her business year over year while becoming a specialist in relocation and short sales. Having bought, built and sold eight homes in various states over the past two decades, she possesses invaluable first-hand knowledge of the relocation process and how to best serve clients remotely. Whether her clients want to secure a new home during a weekend visit, tour properties for months to find “the one” or construct a home from start to finish, Shantel takes pride in advising with patience and empathy.

Born and raised in Illinois, where she married her husband and raised three now-grown children, Shantel first fell in love with Naples during her honeymoon and made it her full-time residence in 2019. She and her husband, who serves as Operating Manager of The Agency Naples, now enjoy time at the beach, golfing and playing bocce ball in between assisting clients and negotiating transactions. Together they feel blessed to continue deepening their ties to the community and supporting numerous charities, including the Northern Illinois Food Bank, Michael Phelps Foundation, Tim Tebow Foundation and STARability Foundation.
