Juhl Celebrates Grand Opening in Sizzling Las Vegas Market

Posted on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.

Juhl Las Vegas recently celebrated its grand opening with a celebration of art and design—a lively extravaganza befitting the loft-style community’s dynamic Downtown Las Vegas neighborhood. Juhl officially launched its collection of flats, two-story lofts, brownstones, and penthouses, showcasing newly furnished and contemporary designed model homes during the event.

Vegas Magazine joined Juhl in welcoming guests to the resort-style pool terrace, where they enjoyed live entertainment, including aqua-sphere dancers who performed atop the water, delicious cuisine from Constellation Catering, and festive cocktails by Effen Vodka. Showcasing Juhl’s commitment to supporting the thriving downtown cultural community, the 2017-2018 Artist in Residence winner was announced during the event. Krystal Ramirez, a multidisciplinary artist who works primarily with textiles, was selected among Nevada applicants to live and create from her home at Juhl.

“The grand opening celebration captured the artful lifestyle Juhl provides, which is one that is deeply connected to the downtown community,” said Uri Vaknin, a partner at KRE Capital, which owns Juhl. “This neighborhood represents the convergence of art, cuisine, fashion, and entertainment and has helped propel the evolution of Las Vegas into a modern, world-class city.”

A Two-Bedroom Residence at JuhlWhile enjoying the festivities, guests were treated to a glimpse inside the newest model residences designed by Lee Bryan Interior Design. More than 100 distinct, versatile floor plans range from 600 to 2,000 square feet in size, featuring open-plan living, soaring ten-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces, with views that stretch from downtown to the mountains. In addition to the resort-style pool, residents enjoy a 10th Floor Vino deck, alfresco movie theatre, co-op working lounge, two-story fitness center, private pet walk, and ground-floor shopping and dining.

Juhl is one of three condominium offerings from KRE Capital, which also owns The Ogden, a luxury condominium high-rise in Downtown’s Fremont East Entertainment District, and One Las Vegas, located on the South Strip, moments from the new Raiders Stadium. Each offers a highly serviced, amenity-rich lifestyle that is reflective of its respective location.

The Las Vegas real estate market, specifically the condominium market, has shown tremendous growth this year, ranking among the healthiest housing and job markets in the country. According to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, total sales volume in September was up 34.4% for condominiums and townhouses over last year. And as Vaknin explains, the so-called “Raiders effect” is driving the surge.

“Sales, specifically at our One Las Vegas property, have spiked since the Raiders announced their move to the city. The arrival of professional sports, from the NFL to the NHL Golden Knights, has been a game-changer for the city in terms of influence, economic engagement, and civic pride,” Vaknin explained.

KRE Capital reports a flurry of sales at its properties, with The Ogden now 70% sold and One Las Vegas attracting buyers seeking housing near the new stadium. Both have only two and three-bedroom homes among their remaining inventory, with Juhl now offering a wide range of residential offerings, including the studio home pictured at right, moments from the city’s most iconic destinations.
