SOAK UP CULTURE HERE – One of the most iconic and celebrated events of the season, Art Walk, returns this month to San Jose Del Cabo. Every Thursday night from 5pm to 9pm from November to June, the event draws art lovers and tourists to the Gallery District, which flows with color and creativity. Galleries open their doors, offering wine and hors d’oeuvres, live music enlivens the streets, and restaurants fill with diners after they’ve finished their stroll through the historic, culturally-rich town square. If you’re dining out in San Jose on Thursday evenings, be sure to make reservations to avoid a long wait.
SEE STARS HERE – The Los Cabos International Film Festival returns November 13-17, drawing big names in film from across North America. Last year’s event welcomed Spike Lee, who won the Exceptional Contribution to Cinema History Tribute award and presented the Mexican Premiere of his film BlacKkKlansman alongside star, Adam Driver. Now in its eighth year, the internationally acclaimed event brings thousands of filmmakers and enthusiasts, awarding prizes in more than 20 categories.
SAVOR LOS CABOS HERE – Another Los Cabos tradition returns November 30—the 2019 Sabor A Cabo food festival. The culinary celebration features the region’s best chefs, restaurants and wineries, ending with a spectacular closing concert. The event, named “the most important gastronomic festival in the country,” by CANIRAC National, begins at 5pm at the Club Campestre Golf Course. Get your tickets here.
PUERTO VALLARTA & PUNTA DE MITA
ENJOY DINNER & A ROUND HERE – The 9th annual Gourmet & Golf event tees off at Punta Mita November 14 – 17, pairing local and international cuisine, wine, tequila and mezcal with world-class golf at the Jack Nicklaus-signature BahÍa and Pacifico golf courses. The event will welcome guest chefs and professional golfers while raising money to support an array of local charities.
CATCH THE BIG ONE HERE – The International Marlin and Sailfish Tournament celebrates its 64th annual event November 13-16 in Puerto Vallarta. This year’s prizes include cars, fishing kits, hotel stays and more. Participants depart from the Malecon in front of Hotel Rosita for three full days of fishing, ending in an award’s ceremony after the final fish reception.
SAVOR PUERTO VALLARTA HERE – The Festival Gourmet International returns for its 25th consecutive year November 20 to 24. Participating hotels and restaurants showcase the cuisine of the region’s top chefs and welcome 20 guests chefs from around the world.
