The Agency Agenda Orange County: What to Do + Where to Go this November

by | Oct 23, 2019

Our picks of places to go and things to do to make the most of your month in and around Orange County.

CELEBRATE LIFE HERE – Gather to honor those who have passed on at the Dia de los Muertos Fiesta at The Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton. Enjoy live music, fresh food, family art activities, arts and crafts and bring along a few marigolds to place on the ofrendas (altars).

GET CREATIVE INSPO HERE – Toy collectibles, designer apparel, pop and urban art—it’s all on deck at DesignerCon, a convention created to bring together artists, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers in the vinyl toy and collectible figures market. Taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center’s November 22-24, this large-scale event will boast 700 vendors. And more than 300 artists.

GET COLORFUL HERE – Runners, non-runners and lovers of vibrant colors unite for the fantastically photogenic Color Run on November 16. Taking place at the Huntington Beach State Park, the 5k promises music, dancing and (of course) plenty of colorful clouds to run through at the finish line.

TRI YOUR HARDEST HERE – Ready to take on the swim/bike/run adventure? Sign up for the 2019 Cal Tri Events Newport Dunes, which will take place November 3 at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort and Newport Dunes Lagoon. There are several race combinations, including relays, a 10k and swim/bike or swim/run options. If watching and cheering is more your speed, there’s plenty for you to enjoy too!
