The results are in for REAL Trends’ "The Thousand 2017," and The Agency is thrilled to have 13 of its agents recognized among the best of the best. In partnership with The Wall Street Journal, the annual ranking is among the most prestigious in the industry, paying tribute to the top 1,000 real estate professionals in the U.S. by sales volume. 

CEO and Co-Founder Mauricio Umansky was named the Number 5 agent in the U.S. with a total sales volume of over $430.5MM. 2017 marks Mauricio’s seventh consecutive year (excepting 2011, when he didn’t submit due to Co-Founding The Agency) placing in The Thousand’s Top 10. It was a lively affair as guests gathered to celebrate the grand opening of The Agency's new Calabasas office last week. Located near The Commons at 23622 Calabasas Road, Suite 148, the office will be led by The Agency's Managing Partner Emil Hartoonian, Sales Manager Jason Galardi and Estates Director Craig Knizek.

Guests mingled and mixed during the launch party, enjoying cocktails while savoring bites from neighborhood Italian eatery Rosti Tuscan Kitchen. SoulCycle Calabasas gifted free class passes and Rosti provided 10% off coupons for patrons to enjoy. A ribbon cutting ceremony organized and presented by the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce served as a fitting prelude to what will surely be an exciting new chapter at The Agency.

Part manmade, part natural, entirely mind-blowing. Museo Atlantico is Europe's first underwater art museum, situated on the seabed off the coast of Spain in Lanzarote, Canary Islands. Scuba divers and snorkelers are now free to explore the permanent, underwater art installation by Jason deCaires Taylor, a British artist, diver, and naturalist. More than 300 life-sized sculptures rest on the ocean floor 14 meters below the surface, showcasing what Taylor calls "tales of the world, reflections on climate change, and habitat loss based on real-life characters, their stories, and their relationship with the environment."
