Perfectly Pasadena – Raising a Glass to Unveil an Elegant Estate

by | Nov 4, 2019

On a cool autumn evening in Pasadena, guests gathered at 1725 Orlando Road for an exclusive look at the French-style estate’s unique contemporary comforts and elegant design details.

Attendees arrived at the home’s double-door entry through a front courtyard lined with lush, privacy-enhancing foliage. Inside, they toured rooms full of chateau-inspired details, such as ornate ceiling alcoves adorned with delicate chandeliers.

Perfectly situated moments from the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Gardens and Old Town, the gated, 8,322-square-foot residence was designed to accommodate both large-scale entertaining and day-to-day living.

Outside on the backyard patio, DJ DevvLovv spun mellow beats as twilight faded into dusk. Guests explored the home’s incredible outdoor spaces with wonder, taking in the covered outdoor kitchen and bar, pool and tennis courts—lit for impromptu night games.

“Pasadena has such a lovely, historic vibe and this home perfectly captures the traditionally elegant L.A. aesthetic while adding fresh modern features,” said Gus Ruelas, who represents the property alongside Farrah Brittany and Stephanie DeCarlo. “I would love to sit outside by the pool during the summer or host a family game day on the tennis court. Everything about this property feels elevated, functional and fun.”

DCLA passed small but hearty bites—from beet bruschetta with goat cheese and basil to truffle grilled cheese and mini chicken and waffles (the crowd favorite). See below for more event images.
