From glossy videos to shiny new listings, musical tributes to charitable donations, our agents across the globe have been hard at work through the dog days of summer. In our monthly agent insider roundup, we check in with the team from Tempe to Los Cabos, Vancouver Island to Orange County.

Arizona agent Jeff Gritzmacher and his family have been working to provide support to the homeless population in Tempe. Together, they have prepared 250 lunches to feed those in need in the city’s parks and surrounding areas, while providing food and water and collecting clothes, shoes and blankets to deliver. If you’d like to support his efforts, contact Jeff at Jeff.Gritzmacher@TheAgencyRE.com.

In addition to showing property, Michael Bloom of The Agency Calabasas has been serving the community through the pandemic as a Commissioner for LA County Public Social Services and Hidden Hills Public Safety, Ambassador for Calabasas Chamber of Commerce and a Board Member for The Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools. He has been attending community meetings and working to raise funds for schools while supporting mental health and homeless services throughout the region.

Los Cabos

Janet Jensen has been busy representing some of the finest properties in the region, including two incredible estate homesites in La Montaña, bordering the master-planned Palmilla community. La Montaña 3 and La Montaña 4 are two of just 13 homesites available within the enclave, which captures stunning ocean and desert views from above the Sea of Cortez. La Montaña 3 can accommodate a 12,000-square-foot villa, while La Montaña 4 has approved plans for a 14,022-square-foot residence, both offering membership to private beach and fitness clubs. When not selling real estate, Janet can be found giving back to the community, supporting a range of local organizations and tapping into her musical talent while performing trombone sessions in salute of healthcare workers throughout the region.

Orange County

The Agency Orange County joined in the festivities at this year’s 4th of July parade at Monarch Bay. The annual event takes place in the 214-home coastal community, situated on an oceanfront promontory south of Laguna Beach. Pasadena

Lisa Ashworth has brought a true one-of-a-kind property to the market in Pasadena, listing the Hacienda-style architectural 3629 San Pasqual Street. Situated within the prestigious Chapman Woods neighborhood, the home was originally built in 1936, when the owners gave their architect inspired instructions to “visualize” and “duplicate” design elements from historic missions and castles, while referencing the early California style. Today, the home contrasts old-world charm with modern updates, as the current owners have completed a thorough restoration and renovation. Palm Desert

Jeff Kohl and Tamara Baron have listed the remarkable 70380 Desert Cove Avenue, a multi-building, eco-friendly compound in Rancho Mirage called Terra. A recent feature by At Home in Hollywood takes a deep dive into the home, built by using the “rammed-earth technique,” which involves two-foot thick walls made of steel rebar and rammed and compacted earth, which Tamara notes takes green living to the next level. “The rammed earth walls naturally regulate this desert home’s temperature by absorbing heat in the day and releasing it at night,” she explains. “The rammed earth walls have the lowest environmental impact of building techniques, and its unique composition allows it to absorb and release humidity, improve air quality, and offer next-level natural wellness to its residents.” Read more about the property’s 9,500 square feet of living space, entertaining amenities and exquisite details here.
