The Los Angeles Business Journal loves to recognize The Agency with glowing recognition and awards. Most recently, The Agency ranked as part of the publication’s Disrupter Awards: Fastest Growing Companies 2021, which consisted of the top 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Los Angeles. The Agency was ranked as 85th in the county based on 2018–2020 revenue growth—an impressive feat in one of the world’s most business-prolific, entrepreneurial metropolitan areas.
The Agency also was featured in a full-page editorial in the same issue, titled, “Boutique Real Estate Brokerage The Agency Aims for International Growth.” In the article, The Agency showcases its growth, software, and, of course, signature culture of collaboration. “When you’re able to all work together…you’re obviously going to do a lot better than if you are doing everything on your own,” says Founder and Vice Chairman Billy Rose. “We’ve been able to really elevate younger agents by providing them with lots of resources.”
“I felt that the industry was very archaic and ancient in the way that they were working and didn’t feel that there was innovation happening in the industry,” said Founder and CEO Mauricio Umansky to the publication.
Additionally, one of The Agency’s own took the Los Angeles Business Journal spotlight: Santiago Arana, Principal, was recognized on their prestigious “Thriving in Their 40s” list. Ranked the #6 real estate agent in the country, Santiago Arana has closed over $3 billion in real estate across Los Angeles, taking his place among the most distinguished professionals in the industry. Originally from Sucre, Bolivia, Santiago’s international background has helped him build a strong network of contacts from every corner of the globe. He will be profiled in the December 20 issue, highlighting his expansive career and remarkable accomplishments.
