The November Hotlist—The Agency’s Worldwide Headlines

The year may be winding down, but The Agency is most certainly not. From coast to coast and beyond, our agents were as busy as ever, gleaming impressive attention from the press and coming in hot with incredible properties, valuable insights, and the classic Agency swag. Here are some of the top headlines from the month.

HEATHER SINCLAIRMansion Global looked to The Agency Aspen’s Founder and Managing Partner, Heather Sinclair, for insight on mountain locales, which have exploded in popularity during the pandemic, but where inventory still remains slim. “There are [currently] six new properties under contract at $30 million or more,” she said to the publication. “We’re seeing some really big numbers trading in Aspen, and we have a lot of wealth and new buyers coming from all over the world.”

ERIKA LASSITERModern Luxury Scottsdale shone the spotlight on Erika, featuring her in their “5 Questions With…” series. The Scottsdale agent talked about her work as president of The Kwamie Lassiter Foundation, an organization inspired by her late husband. “I come from a family of givers! “Whether it is watching the joy of a family in receiving keys to their new home or supporting a family facing hardships, being in a position to change someone’s life is what inspires me,” she said to the magazine.

MAURICIO UMANSKY—The Agency’s Founder & CEO made a splash, penning an article in Entrepreneur, titled “4 Lessons I’ve Learned in 10 Years of Building a Luxury Real Estate Brokerage.” Business Jet Traveller also highlighted the real estate guru, in their exclusive feature on his story and success.

RAINY HAKE AUSTIN—For The Agency’s President, networking is at the heart of leading an international real estate sensation, and it isn’t always easy. But just like any other skill, you can get better at it with lots of practice. Rainy shared her tried-and-true tips for relationship-building with Inman’s readers.

IAN HURDLE—Founder and Director of Turks & Caicos, Ian Hurdle really knows the island market. He shared some insight with Cayman Compass this month in their article on post-COVID tourism. “It has been an incredible year and we are not seeing any sign of slowdown,” he said, highlighting high demand for multi-million-dollar beachfront property. “We were already moving as a burgeoning destination but that has really escalated over the past few years.”

ZAR ZANGENEHLas Vegas Review Journal put The Agency’s Las Vegas office center stage, which will be downtown high-rise Juhl’s newest resident. The Agency has moved into one of Juhl’s two-story live-work residences and part of its Studio Collection. Zar Zangeneh, The Agency’s Managing Partner who is leading the Las Vegas operation, commented: “We love having a presence in the Juhl building and being a part of the downtown culture.”

DON MASTROIANNI & MICHAEL SMITH—“Be transparent and ethical in all you do,” said Don and Michael to Authority Magazine this month. The two managing partners of The Agency North Shore-New York office shared their stories and insights with the publication, highlighting the importance of real estate and takeaways from their own careers in the industry.

AMANDA LYNN—Amanda’s incredible West Hollywood listing, 1424 N. Crescent Heights Blvd. #PH78, made some big press. The celebrity-studded residence, which was previously home to Marilyn Monroe, was featured by Mansion Global and Architectural Digest. “The home captures the old Hollywood charm, regency and glamour,” Amanda noted to Mansion Global.

ANGEL KOU & BLAIR CHANGThe Wall Street Journal featured Angel and Blair’s listing at 4733 Bonvue Avenue in Los Angeles in the recent article “Renters Who Abandoned Their City Apartments During Covid Are Coming Home To a Crazy Leasing Market,” which talks about skyrocketing rents for people returning to city life in metropolitan areas.
