The Agency has appointed Wendy Walker as Managing Director of the Scottsdale office, where she’ll join current leadership supporting agents and building the team. Wendy is joined by her Wendy Walker Fine Properties team, which ranked as the number one team for Coldwell Banker in Arizona and is included in its Hall of Fame. The announcement comes on the heels of the Scottsdale office experiencing a record-breaking 2020. The Agency noted the team had nearly doubled its entire sales volume year over year.

“With the appointment of Wendy Walker as the managing director of the Scottsdale office, The Agency gains an outstanding and experienced leader who will work with our existing leadership team to bring our presence in Arizona to the next level,” said Mauricio Umansky, CEO and Founder of The Agency. “Wendy’s real estate expertise and market knowledge will be of immense value for the future of our Scottsdale office, especially as we continue our growth in this market.”

Wendy has more than 21 years of experience serving high-profile clients throughout some of the region’s most sought-after neighborhoods, including Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, Biltmore, Arcadia, and Phoenix. Among her many awards and recognitions, she is the recipient of Coldwell Banker’s Arizona Hall of Fame and AZ Big Media’s Top Ten Real Estate Agents. She is joined by longtime team members and award-winning agents, including Nicole Hammond, Amanda Malcolm, and Kristin Oas. Amanda and Kristin have previously been recognized by the Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS as the Top 40 Under 40.

“It was important for me to join an organization that subscribes to the same philosophy that I do while continuing to push industry boundaries with cutting-edge marketing, technology, and unparalleled agent support,” Wendy said. “I believe in The Agency brand, and I am looking forward to joining the leadership team in expanding our market share in Arizona.”

Wendy is a fierce advocate for empowering and mentoring women in the real estate business. She is frequently invited to speak on the topic at industry functions and seminars and has mentored some of the brightest young realtors, who are now on their way to success.
