Casa Sorensen is in Santa Cruz de Los Zacatitos on the lower East Cape - twenty minutes from San Jose del Cabo. This impeccably maintained home offers 180-degree panoramic views of the ocean and mountains and sits on 2,486 square meters (26,759 square feet, or .614 acres) fenced and gated, home-site. The home consists of two levels and a rooftop deck. The upstairs living space is 1,300 square feet with a primary bedroom and en-suite bath, guest bedroom and bathroom, living and dining room, kitchen, and laundry room. The lower level has an oversized garage and workbench with storage, a 325 square-foot guest studio with a kitchen, and a room with a view for an office or art studio. The rooftop enjoys a palapa for shade and an outdoor clothes-drying area. There is a pergola-shaded ocean-view deck space of 400 square feet adjoining the living room. The total living space of the house is 1770 square feet. The two-car garage plus shop and storage space is 680 square feet, covered carport is 418 square feet and, the palapa on the roof is 15 feet in diameter. A delightful small arroyo borders the east side of the property and serves as a footpath towards the beach during the dry season, this is bordered by greenspace, adding to the privacy of Casa Sorensen.
Los Zacatitos offers a coastline of pristine beaches for diving, surfing, swimming, and wildlife viewing. The East Cape is known for unpaved roads, arroyos and pathways for mountain biking and hiking as well as great surf spots. The community has a weekly organic market, Zac's Bar and Grill, and a 24-hour security program.

The home is self-sufficient with solar system which was completely rebuilt in 2019 and includes 5000 watts in panels, 1100-watt hours in Simpliphi lithium-iron batteries (another battery could be added if desired), and a combined Outback charge controller, inverter, and monitor. The system allows a Mirage mini-split air conditioner to cool the master bedroom.

The water storage (pilas), located at the street level, holds 10,000 liters, or enough for approximately one month depending on usage. Water is treated by an ultra-violet system , which purifies 24-hours a day. The septic system is divided into gray water and black water holding tanks. The gray water tank has a pump, and water is fed to five coco palms and six bougainvilleas once a week. The black water flows to a percolation field.
