Andrew McDonald

A natural-born networker, entrepreneur, salesman and seeker, Andrew brings more than 20 years of real estate experience to The Agency. With a passion for helping others and a gift for identifying a home’s potential, he is uniquely suited to bring out the highest values in real estate while serving buyers, sellers, and investors in what is often the most personal and significant transaction they will make in their lives.

Andrew began his real estate career as a Realtor with Beach Cities Real Estate, quickly opening the Malibu territory for the brokerage. In the process of serving his real estate clients, it became clear that his significant life experience and background as an entrepreneur, life coach, and business consultant gave him a competitive edge. Shortly after, Andrew became the West Coast team leader for the entire brokerage, responsible for refining the business model for expansion while developing teams in pre-existing and new territories. Simultaneously, he was the creator, producer, and TV host for the Southern California episodes of “What’s For Sale With a View,” which aired on the Discovery Network’s Destination America channel and was syndicated internationally.

Over the years, Andrew’s journey has placed him in a spectrum of roles which began with representing Johns Hopkins Preventive Cardiology where he managed their accounts, marketing, and branding. The field of health and wellness took hold of Andrew during this period, and a protracted recovery from serious injuries guided him into extensive studies within health science and physical fitness. This led Andrew to consult in the development of successful companies such as Sambazon and Earthling Organics.

Andrew’s successes over many years led to his current flourishing career as a real estate agent specializing in Malibu and the surrounding L.A. coastal areas, as well as Laguna, Newport Beach, and other neighborhoods along the Orange County shore. This culminated in him spearheading the opening of The Agency’s Orange County office as Managing Partner. With property and development projects in both Malibu and Laguna Beach, Andrew also works with investors to purchase, renovate, and sell signature luxury residential properties with a team of experts in design, architecture, and construction.

A California native, when he’s not serving his clients, Andrew enjoys outdoor sports such as hiking, golfing, surfing, and snowboarding, along with traveling, yoga, reading, and spending time with his wife, children, family, friends, and dog, Sir Henry. As a trained and experienced public speaker, he is always eager to share what he’s learned with others and counsels professional performers and athletes, those with physical limitations, injuries, and developmental disabilities.
