A proud member of The Agency, Austin Brunkhorst got his start in real estate in 2007 and has since closed more than 200 transactions, representing clients throughout the Los Angeles area, including Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Hancock Park, Hollywood, Mar Vista, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, and the San Fernando Valley.
With an infectious energy and knack for differentiating a property from its competition, Austin has garnered a diverse and distinguished clientele, from first-time homebuyers to investors, developers and major players at the top of their respective industries. Known for his sharp negotiating skills and stellar communication, he prides himself on handling each property and client with the same high standards of professionalism and service.
Before his career in real estate, Austin worked for Starcom Worldwide, one of the largest advertising companies in the world. After working as a strategic media planner on the Kellogg’s business, Austin helped jumpstart a Los Angeles branch, primarily devoted to the Disney account. He worked as a supervisor and associate director for five years, planning media campaigns for the launch of Disney, Touchstone Pictures and Pixar blockbuster movie releases, including Pirates of the Caribbean, National Treasure, The Incredibles and Cars. He credits his background in advertising and marketing as a contributing factor in his ability to brand and market a property to its fullest potential.
Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Austin played collegiate tennis at Northwestern University and graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies. When he’s not representing his clients in real estate, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, playing tennis competitively and running. He is involved with several charitable causes, including Heal the Bay and “Adopt a Family,” providing clothes to families in need.
