Energized by a deep, long-held passion for midcentury modern design and architecturally significant homes, Eldon Daetweiler brings unwavering focus and enthusiasm to every new client and potential transaction.
Armed with nearly two decades of experience in the industry and based in the Beverly Hills office, Eldon specializes in residential properties in Hollywood Hills and the surrounding neighborhoods. Eldon’s love for unique, well-crafted residences makes him an invigorating, inspiring resource for clients seeking homes of all styles.
Born in Visalia, California, Eldon moved to Los Angeles in his late teens to pursue music. In the late 90s, after touring extensively with his retro-inspired Space Age Swing Band, Eldon translated his passion for the era into a real estate career, specializing in buying and selling historic homes crafted in the 50s, 60s and 70s. When he relocated back to the San Joaquin Valley to be closer to his aging parents, Eldon embraced the area’s local Modernism scene and founded Fresno Modern, a successful boutique real estate firm he managed for ten years before moving back to Los Angeles. Today, Eldon’s broad network of professionals in the music and entertainment industries have become the core of his L.A. client base.
“The majority of my business in Los Angeles and Fresno has always been repeat business, referral from past clients and word of mouth,” says Eldon. “My reputation, how I’m perceived and how I treat all parties of a transaction are all very important to me.”
In his free time, Eldon can be found driving his 1967 MG in Hollywood Hills, restoring his Ray Kappe-designed home, traveling and making music with his brother Jeff Daetweiler.
