Greg Schoch

Recognized in the industry for his integrity, perseverance and commitment to exceeding his clients’ expectations, Greg brings 17 years of real estate experience to The Agency.
Greg got his start in real estate buying and renovating properties across Los Angeles. In the early 2000s, he purchased the property across the street from his home in Studio City with the intention of renovating it for his family, and soon realized he had identified a niche market finding development properties for investors. By 2005 he had renovated and sold eight properties. Greg’s experience finding, developing and bringing value added properties to market has translated seamlessly to his career as an agent, while his familiarity with zoning laws and building codes has proven invaluable to buyers and investors seeking to identify potential downfalls or increased equity in properties. His past design experience, keen sense of presentation and willingness to go above and beyond for his clients makes him perfectly suited to The Agency.
Prior to his foray into real estate, Greg enjoyed a lucrative career as a nationally-recognized broker of Hollywood and rock and roll memorabilia, with an exclusive clientele that included The Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood, and celebrity collectors from all over the world. In 1997, he obtained his Series 7 license and went to work as a financial adviser for a major Wall Street firm, however it wasn’t long before he realized his true calling was in real estate.
Greg grew up in Flint, Michigan and moved to Los Angeles in 1990 after spending time in Miami, New York and Rome. He lives in Calabasas with his son, Max, and when he’s not hosting an open house or traveling across L.A. in search of the perfect property for a client, he enjoys skiing, spending time at the beach and volunteering.

Happy Clients

Dear Mr. Mauricio Umansky,
It is our pleasure and honor to write this letter to inform you that one of your agents, Greg Schoch has been the best real estate person we have worked with from NYC to LA.  We moved from NYC, Manhattan two years ago and I met Greg at an open house.  We spoke for a hour and when I left I called my husband and told him we found our agent.  I knew from that moment he was the right person to help us through this process.
After living in NYC my whole life it was a stressful process for me moving to LA and finding the right area for our family.  Greg never once made me feel pressured or stressed he was calming and always there when I needed him.  We have bought and sold many NYC apartments and we were on the hunt for our first home in LA. Greg spent countless hours helping me learn about the different areas, schools and developments in the valley.   Greg has always had the most positive attitude and kindness towards us. Greg listened to all our needs and has outstanding communication skills and is extremely reliable.
We found our dream home and closed about 10 days ago.  We moved to 5358 Oak Park Avenue in Encino and Greg made it possible for our family to have the home we have been looking for and walking distance to our son's school Westmark.  He maintained a professional demeanor through the whole process and has been helping us even after the closing.
We admire Greg's dedication to his son, friends and career. Greg is a person we trust, respect, and admire.  We have made a life long friend.
It has been a pleasure working with Greg and The Agency.  Thank you.
