Having overseen more than $1.25 billion in new development sales since 2009, Hana Cha has quickly established herself among the region’s most accomplished real estate executives. As Managing Director of The Agency Development Group, Hana serves as the client lead in managing all ongoing new business initiatives and mandated sales accounts for the team.
Successfully engaging with some of the most prestigious developers in the country, Hana applies her comprehensive knowledge of mixed-use condominium project documents, BRE regulations and compliance, and project approvals to achieve optimum results for her clients. She is often known to source unconventional consumer financing solutions for difficult, non-traditional and non-warrantable new development projects. Hana’s breadth of experience rebranding and relaunching several notable projects throughout the U.S. has given her an acute ability to design and execute upon various value-maximizing marketing initiatives and hybrid operations. She has played an indispensable role on numerous project teams, including one of San Francisco’s most iconic residential projects, The Harrison, and Oceanwide Plaza, the largest mixed-use development project in Los Angeles. She is perhaps most known for her leadership role at The Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVE, a project which achieved a 99% premium price per square foot to the underlying market in DTLA, grossing over $375 million in sales revenue.
In her earliest years, Hana was involved in three of the largest new development projects in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood of Los Angeles: The Mercury, a condo-conversion project acquired by real estate conglomerate Kennedy Wilson, The Summit on Sixth, a condo-conversion by Big Rock Partners, and Solair, a condominium property acquired by Starwood Capital’s residential subsidiary, ST Residential.
