Jean-Baptiste Rugiero

A true citizen of the world, Jean-Baptiste Rugiero has managed hundreds of real estate transactions over three continents. He brings passion, a devotion to first-class service and more than 20 years of experience to The Agency in Beverly Hills, where he specializes in helping global clients build international portfolios and relocate to the Greater Los Angeles area from abroad.

Born and raised in France, Jean-Baptiste graduated Valedictorian from the most prestigious real estate program in Paris. He began his career developing properties in his hometown of Metz, going on to found and operate his own brokerage before moving to L.A. with his family in 2011. As an expatriate, he possesses a unique perspective and ability to guide foreign clients looking to build a life in California.

Jean-Baptiste earned a glowing reputation in L.A., where he established and successfully grew a new branch of a European-based luxury international realty firm. In 2016 he expanded his global footprint further, working for a China-based brokerage building a large-scale sales operation of U.S. residential properties.

Ever the entrepreneur, Jean-Baptiste set up his own brokerage in Shanghai to handle sales of properties throughout Asia-Pacific, from Vietnam to Japan. After years splitting his time between continents, Jean-Baptiste is thrilled to focus on the dynamic L.A. market and spend more time with his wife and son while continuing to represent international clientele.

Outside of real estate, Jean-Baptiste loves traveling with his family, especially visiting his parents and eight siblings, and reliving his days as a semi-professional basketball player on the court. He also makes a point to be involved in his son's education at Beverly Hills High School, volunteering alongside other parents and supporting the Robotics program.
