Brentwood native Joey Ben-Zvi’s real estate career has been inspiring from the start—in his first year as an agent at the Beverly Hills office, Joey produced impressive volume in residential sales and leases. He closed his first deal with The Agency in his first week on the job. As a member of The Umansky Team, Joey specializes in conceptualizing cutting-edge marketing strategies and managing large transactions.
Joey is a graduate of L.A.’s Milken Community High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining The Agency, he worked for Michael Koss, principal owner/operator of Malibu Country Mart and other pristine properties. “My experience with Koss helped me better understand property value and financing,” says Joey, who also credits his hometown with sparking his fascination in the industry. “Growing up in Brentwood, I was fortunate to be in close proximity to diverse, quality real estate. Early on, I saw how homes deliver monetary and emotional value. For me, real estate goes beyond numbers and is more of a dynamic dance of finishes, scale and location. I relish bringing people great value and a unique product.”
Joey’s distinct familiarity with Los Angeles informs his in-depth real estate knowledge of Brentwood, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Westwood, Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills, West Hollywood, the Hollywood Hills and Hancock Park.
In addition to being a member of the Real Estate & Construction Division of the Jewish Federation, Joey is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. He is also a co-owner of a patent for prosthetic arm technology. Joey is fluent in Hebrew and in his free time, enjoys playing basketball.
