John Vetere, a licensed real estate salesperson, is the Operations Manager for The Ko Team. As a lifelong New Yorker, John grew up in a tight-knit community in the Bronx. After graduating from Fordham College at Lincoln Center with dual degrees in Theatre Arts/Lighting Design and English, John began his career in publishing. He pivoted into the real estate industry when he became a Property Manager for cooperatives and condominiums in Manhattan and Queens.
John first met Gina Ko when they were neighbors in their coop building. At the time, John was a Managing Agent for Bell Realty, reviewing purchase applications for the building he represented. As Gina sold several of those apartments, John got to know her personality and work ethic. John was impressed that Gina and her team always went the extra mile to prepare listings in a predictive manner, present meticulously prepared sales packages, and create a smooth process for all parties involved.
