Born in Honolulu and raised on the Valley Isle of Maui, Kamai Apo joins The Agency Maui office with a niche in second home and luxury real estate. Having spent 7 years in the field, acquiring Luxury RE and GREEN RE certifications, Kamai prides herself in being detail-orientated and providing seamless, high-quality guidance to her clients. With a love for meeting new people and helping others fall in love with the island as much as she has, Kamai serves all areas of Maui including Central, South, West, Upcountry and Wailea.
“Growing up here on the island, I think, gives me an upper hand on knowledge of location and “things to know” in the area, whether its restaurants, beaches, bakeries, etc.,” says Kamai Apo. “Besides the fact that I’ve always had a thing for new developments, home decor, and structure design as a child, Real Estate really just gives me a space to help people while doing what I love.”
Kamai comes to the Maui office with a Marketing & Business degree from The University of Hawaii Maui Campus. The agent has also previously worked in Administration/ Sales Management as well as at a local Appraisal Firm. In 2019, Kamai founded a small charitable organization, “Students with Sole”, that contributes to local youth and elementary schools which she annually organizes drives and footwear donations. “It’s a great and easy way for our community to give back in at least a small way,” Apo notes. On her free time, she enjoys family beach days with her 2 daughters, fiancé and their 2-year old Frenchie.
