For Pasadena native Kate Adams Barnett, the heart and soul of her real estate business is centered around building and maintaining client relationships that last a lifetime.
A brilliant negotiator and consummate networker, Kate likes to think of herself as a facilitator of the American Dream, guiding her clients through the home-buying and selling process with patience, wisdom and discretion. Committed to advocating for her clients’ best interests while navigating the biggest financial decision of their lives, Kate considers her clients family and has earned a reputation for her honesty, integrity and work ethic throughout every step of a transaction.
Growing up immersed in the incredible array of architectural styles in Pasadena and visiting her childhood friends at their family homes by the likes of Wallace Neff, Frank Lloyd Wright, Marsten Van Belt and Charles and Henry Greene, Kate’s passion and enthusiasm for architecture and preservation is infectious. A licensed agent since 2001, Kate’s industry experience and local expertise ensure her clients receive the absolute best representation in their real estate endeavors.
Outside of real estate, Kate is passionate about music, having founded her own label/management company at the age of 24. She loves going to live shows and discovering new bands. An avid photographer, you can often find her wandering around places such as The Broadway Theater District in DTLA taking architectural photos. She also enjoys traveling, road trips, yoga, and spending time with family and friends. In the recent past, Kate chaired the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors’ Historic Preservation Committee for three years, served as a docent on numerous home tours for Pasadena Heritage, Los Angeles Conservancy and local historic districts, and was a guild member of Cancer Support Community of Pasadena. Her latest philanthropic endeavor is the preservation of the many exquisite historic theaters found in Los Angeles as a member of the Los Angeles Historic Theater Foundation (LAHTF).
