License #: SA661448000 Named one of Homeowner Magazine’s top 40 Scottsdale real estate agents under 40 for three consecutive years, Lani Smith prides herself on providing clients with a highly personalized experience. “Real estate has become so transactional,” says Lani. “I focus on building relationships, using my local knowledge to help my clients navigate the market and helping them feel comfortable throughout the process.”
Lani serves throughout the Northwest Valley, with keen expertise in Peoria and North Phoenix. Deeply embedded in the community she’s called home for more than a decade, she has recommendations ready for virtually anything her clients might be interested in, from financial support and custom furniture craftsmen to the best schools and hole-in-the-wall restaurants. For Lani, nothing compares to the feeling of helping clients bring the vision they have for their lives to fruition, because she has experienced that kind of joy first-hand.
Originally from Alaska, Lani grew up fascinated by her mother’s stories of selling real estate in Hawaii during the 1970’s and 80’s. When she got married, she and her husband, who works in construction, began building their first home and she fell in love with real estate. They relocated to real estate, investing in a few long- and short-term rental properties, before Lani decided to share her passion and everything she learned in the industry as an agent.
When Lani isn’t assisting clients with their goals, she loves reconnecting to her outdoor roots, exploring and spending time with her three children. You can usually find them riding bikes around town, off-roading in the desert, hiking and camping in Sedona and Happy Jack.
