A longtime lover of real estate and design, Laura Radcliffe specializes in a broad range of transactions and is a polished, compassionate, highly knowledgeable member of The Agency in Waterloo Region.
Laura is known for her stellar, smart negotiation skills and natural ability to connect deeply with clients—a talent she perfected in her more than two decades in the hospitality industry. Laura’s agile, confident approach to all manner of challenges provides her clients with steady counsel throughout the buying and selling process.
“I began learning about real estate from a young age—our family would go tour open houses on the weekend for fun,” Laura says. “As a young adult, instead of going out socializing, I could often be found driving around looking at beautiful houses. I’ve been passionate about real estate ever since and have always kept an eye on various markets. I absolutely love being a professional in this industry.”
Laura earned a high-ranking real estate sales achievement award in 2019. She has quickly built up a following and a robust client roster, and has enjoyed working on a wide range of residential real estate transactions.
Additionally, Laura is a designated “Trailblazer” for Happy Healthy Women—a cross-Canada community of women entrepreneurs who empower each other toward greater happiness, health and success. In this leadership role, Laura hosts group events, including real estate-related seminars that serve to educate local community members.
A multi-passionate woman, Laura has enjoyed some interesting previous careers. During her years in hospitality, she was a corporate trainer for new store openings, travelling to various cities in Canada, and also a manager for high-volume restaurants. As a former competitive dancer and teacher, Laura mixed music for her choreographed routines, which led her to a career in music and sound. She achieved a diploma from Recording Arts Canada in Toronto for Sound & Music Recording and worked as a Location Sound Mixer for an award-winning sound production company in Toronto. This experience also helped deepen Laura’s technological expertise, which she frequently utilizes when serving her clients.
Laura enjoys giving back to her community and has helped fundraise for a number of local charities, including The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, Carizon Family and Community Services and Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Laura has also donated to Grand River Hospital and Hospice Wellington of Guelph and loves to participate in build days for Habitat for Humanity. She hopes to expand her involvement in this work in the future.
