A community-minded and knowledgeable buyer’s agent who is fluent in Spanish, Laura Vargas treats every transaction as if it were her own, doing whatever it takes to see her clients win. From her post in The Agency’s San Diego/La Jolla office, she focuses her years of real estate expertise on assisting first-time homebuyers, investors and relocating clients throughout San Diego County and the border of Riverside County into Temecula.
Devoted to building genuine relationships, Laura leads with empathy, attentively listening to her clients’ concerns and patiently explaining all facets of real estate. She understands the process of buying and selling can be stressful, but knows firsthand that a successful transaction is built on clear, open communication. Regardless of current market conditions, Laura prepares her clients for fierce negotiations so they can secure the home of their dreams and financial future.
Laura has called North County home for as long as she can remember, since moving to Oceanside from Mexico City with her family when she was eight. In addition to her decades of lived experience in San Diego, her years working in real estate have given her a fuller picture of the market. She can readily pinpoint the best neighborhoods for families, up-and-coming areas for short-term rentals and prospects for investors. Her bilingual skills also give her a unique appreciation for the local community and means of connecting clients with the right resources.
During her college years, Laura worked as an assistant to real estate investors to help Spanish-speaking community members navigate the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. This formative experience made her realize that she could be a voice in the real estate industry for those who often don’t have one. Prior to becoming an agent, she also worked in insurance and business development, learning to advocate for clients and manage contracts.
In her personal time, you’ll find Laura working out at Burn Boot Camp and enjoying time outdoors, including catching the sunset on the pier with her family. She’s also learning Japanese in hopes of supporting even more clients throughout San Diego.
