A longtime resident of the Grand Canyon State, Marcus Johnson has specialized in the Scottsdale area real estate market for more than 11 years and delights in guiding local and new-to-the-area clients through the unique neighborhoods his hometown has to offer.
Before becoming an agent, Marcus was making moves in a different kind of fast-paced industry—from the age of 12, he was a regular on the track, racing go-karts before moving up to high-horsepower sports cars. “I’ve given private driving instructions for exotic car clubs all over the U.S.,” Marcus says. “Racing is about preparation and anticipation, and I apply both tenets to my career in real estate.”
Marcus was inspired to enter the real estate industry after encountering several beautifully conceived car galleries during his time in the professional racing world. “I saw all the amazing garages that fellow car enthusiasts designed to store their cars, and I loved the creativity and imagination applied to make each feel like an extension of the home’s living space,” Marcus recalls. He now specializes in Scottsdale’s residential market, providing concierge-level service to his clients as he guides them through every step of the buying and selling process.
When he isn’t showing real estate or honing his skills on the race track, Marcus enjoys golfing, traveling, and learning about architecture.
