Meghan Hughes has called Austin home since 2005. Originally from Northwest Montana, she is an expert on all things Austin. In her work as an outstanding realtor, she helps guide her clients—especially those new to our city—to navigate the local scene and gain the most about what Austin has to offer.
A fan of architecture and interior design, Meghan is happiest when her clients are happy. Her personal interests help inform her work, especially as she designs the strategic approach that will deliver the best outcomes for her clients.
Meghan graduated in 2003 from The University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Prior to Austin she lived in British Columbia, where she learned the finer points of the high-end hospitality industry. That experience also did wonders to satisfy her love of the outdoors.
In Austin, Meghan leads with her heart and loves to give back. She currently sits on the development board for People’s Community Clinic; does a lot of work with Urban Roots and has spent many years participating as a mentor in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program.
Meghan’s passion for real estate and her background in high-end hospitality, taught her the importance of giving clients a luxury experience throughout the process of buying or selling a home. The fact that homeownership is an incredibly important element in people’s lives is not lost on Meghan. She takes very seriously her responsibility to look after her clients’ best interests, being sensitive to not only their overall needs and objectives, but also to the emotional and financial stakes involved for each of them.
“Working with The Agency Austin is enormously exciting for me. The technology is unparalleled, and the power of the brand is a game changer for my clients” says Meghan. “At the end of the day, giving my clients the experience they covet, and the results they deserve, is what I’m all about.”
