Passionate, resilient and a trusted resource for her clients, Shawna Reddington brings more than 20 years of in-depth local market knowledge and luxury lifestyle experience to The Agency Aspen.
Serving Aspen, Snowmass and the greater Roaring Fork Valley, Shawna specializes in a broad range of properties, from primary family estates and vacation homes to investment properties and ultra-exclusive ranch-style retreats. In addition to her work as an agent, Shawna is also a private wrangler, leading residents of the exclusive Wildcat Ranch in Snowmass and Aspen Valley Ranch Residences in Woody Creek on unforgettable mountain adventures—a role that has informed her unique firsthand knowledge of the region and its offerings.
Over the last decade, Shawna has spearheaded numerous personal real estate projects and investments, including condo and home purchases, remodels and long-term rental property management. “My firsthand experience in buying, selling and renovating gives me a nuanced perspective on what my clients might be experiencing at various stages,” says Shawna. “I also genuinely love meeting new mountain dwellers from around the world and helping my clients find the property that fits their dreams and needs.”
Shawna is known for her naturally friendly demeanor, open communication style, quick problem-solving abilities, strong work ethic, tenacious negotiating skills and meticulousness when it comes to reviewing contracts and analyzing listings.
Prior to becoming an agent, Shawna served the community for two decades as a dental hygienist, also worked for ten winter seasons as a Guest Service Ambassador for the #1 nationally rated Beaver Creek Children’s ski school. She also worked as a ground host for Aspen AERO, a semi-private luxury jet and service, and curates local private events. “I can and do wear ‘many different hats,’” Shawna says. “Though I must admit my favorite hat to wear is a cowboy hat.”
A seasoned world traveler, Shawna lived for two years in Switzerland and speaks conversational Swiss German. “I’ve been around the globe and seen many beautiful places, but Aspen stands apart. It’s where I feel most at home,” says Shawna. “I truly admire all that Aspen has to offer, and am always thrilled to share the beauty of the mountain lifestyle, its unique culture and opportunity for adventure.”
An active outdoor enthusiast, in her free time, Shawna can be found snowboarding, mountain biking with her two sons, leading residents in Snowmass and Woody Creek trail rides as a private wrangler, riding her horse, showing friends and visitors local natural attractions like stand up paddleboarding in mountain lakes and the Stillwater. Shawna supports the Vail Valley Charitable Fund—which provides financial assistance to those suffering from a medical crisis or long-term illness—and would like to participate in local equine-assisted therapies for children and those experiencing PTSD.
