For her, real estate isn’t about selling—it’s about relationships.
Licensed in both California and New York, Tara began her real estate career in Manhattan, where she lived for over a decade. Within three months of receiving her licence, Tara became the top producer at Triplemint Real Estate in Manhattan, with the highest number of closed transactions and highest production of volume at the brokerage for rentals. She was consistently ranked at her firm for volume, closed transactions and client satisfaction. Tara relocated to Los Angeles and now works with Jon and Lauren Grauman at The Agency.
Working previously as a professional actor and vocalist, she learned to be a confident and clear communicator and to show up and deliver her best work every single day. In an industry that requires a great deal of self discipline, self-motivation and tenacity, Tara remains focused on positivity and doesn’t lose momentum when challenges arise. She aims to guide her clients as a calm, positive presence throughout each transaction, navigating the challenges of real estate with empathy, transparency and tenacity.
Tara graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and was selected Miss Tennessee 2005, representing her state in the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas. She is trained opera and jazz singer, highly sought after public speaker and former commercial actress. Her background in entertainment and luxury sales helped her discover her talent and passion for providing unparalleled customer service in a solution-driven manner. Working in the arts and fashion helped her develop a keen aesthetic eye and an intuitive sense of how to best evaluate and utilize a given space. This unique perspective combined with her client-centric approach distinguish her in the vast world of Los Angeles real estate.
When she’s not serving her clients, she is teaching yoga, running marathons, and partaking in her hobbies as a chef and mixologist. She volunteers as a coach and sponsor for several scholarship programs, including the Distinguished Young Women, Miss America and Miss Teen USA Preliminary Pageants. She is also an advocate for HIV/AIDS non-profit organizations throughout the country.
