Yonathan Baltazar

Born and raised in Northeast Los Angeles, Yonathan Baltazar deeply appreciates the chance to serve his community and help others fall in love with every unique pocket and neighborhood the way he has. Based out of The Agency’s Pasadena office, Yonathan works closely with developers, investors, buyers and designers in Silver Lake, Echo Park, Highland Park and Mount Washington, where he often breaks records for price per square foot.

With a lifetime of local knowledge and passion for design, Yonathan often focuses on historically rich and architecturally significant properties. He loves to play a part in restoring homes and buildings while maintaining their integrity. “It’s like watching a black and white film turn into color,” he says. As an investor in the market himself, he has extensive experience in renovations and often helps clients estimate cost and connect to a network of contractors and vendors.

Yonathan works diligently to make each transaction seamless and surprise-free. Adept at identifying and analyzing homes with potential, he makes sure his clients understand what they are buying into and savvily negotiates to find terms that exceed the expectations of all parties involved.

Drawn to real estate for all its potential, Yonathan began pursuing his career as an agent immediately after finishing high school in Boyle Heights and while attending California State University Los Angeles to study marketing. Determined and patient, he worked his way from cold calls and open houses to partnering with creatives behind some of the area’s most exciting projects. Outside of real estate, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball and exploring new music.
