Jamie began his residential real estate career in 1983 in Manhattan and later, in 2000, expanded his business to Los Angeles. Over the years his clients have included partners from Wall Street firms and New York's major law firms as well as numerous members of the entertainment industry on both coasts. He has appeared frequently as a guest on radio and internet shows and has been quoted in the books, Wendy and the Lost Boys: The Uncommon Life Of Wendy Wasserstein and The Tao Gals’ Guide to Real Estate.
Throughout his more than three decades in real estate, Jamie has always preferred being well-acquainted with a wide geographical area, both in New York and Los Angeles, as opposed to the traditional practice of focusing on niche markets. This approach has afforded him a much greater understanding of the markets as a whole as well as the relative value of a given property; on a number of occasions, it has also allowed his clients to find exactly the property they were searching for in locations they might have otherwise overlooked.
Recognizing the process of buying or selling a home often ranks among life’s most stressful activities, Jamie is known for putting his clients at ease and their best interests first. His long-term relationships with brokers and agents on both coasts have proven invaluable in helping his clients complete their transactions smoothly. Whether navigating the often rocky waters of the extensive buyer inspections of single-family homes or compiling the perfect board package for the sale of a client’s co-op or condo, Jamie makes it his mission to simplify the process, ensuring an effortless transaction and impeccable service from start to finish.
