Michelle graduated from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey and reported to NSA HQ as a Russian Cryptologic Linguist for which she was awarded a Joint Services Commendation Medal by the USAF. She later worked as an Account Manager at the pharmaceutical company, Eli Lily and then as a loan agent for Diversified Capital as an in-house lender at J Rockcliff Realtors. Here she worked closely with buyers and their agents. "I found very quickly that my passion for real estate was much stronger than what I felt with any past careers”.
