Powered by compassion and determination, Nicole Stefanski is a natural team player and a steadfast resource for her clients. Part of The Agency Waterloo Region, Nicole is known for her ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships, remain cool under pressure and achieve her goals in the face of varying obstacles. Born in Winnipeg and raised in Kitchener, Nicole has firsthand experience and a nuanced understanding of the local market.
Nicole's interest in real estate took root early on, when, as a child, she watched her parents manage their own interior painting and design businesses. “At a young age, I was exposed to all kinds of homes with varying architecture,” says Nicole. “I loved taking tours of buildings at all stages of their construction. Growing up, I watched my parents transform our tiny living spaces and make them feel spacious and airy. I watched my mom renovate a century-old home and turned it into a multi-unit rental. Their work ethic has always been a great source of inspiration for me.”
Prior to launching her real estate career, Nicole obtained a degree in Educational Support from Conestoga College and worked in schools supporting students with diverse learning challenges and special needs. Patience, kindness and concise communication are all essential elements of Nicole’s personality and her approach to work and life.
As an agent with a focus on residential sales and first-time buyers, Nicole strives to make the search and purchase of a new home seamless and exciting. “It is my constant goal to support my clients through what can be an overwhelming process,” says Nicole. “Given my background in the education field, I am always willing and available to explain the purpose behind certain decisions, protocols and tactics. And above all, I want to be sure my clients are comfortable with the decisions they are making.”
“Being an agent allows me to help people during major moments in their lives,” says Nicole. “I get the opportunity to truly connect with others and assist them in achieving—and exceeding—their goals. I can’t imagine anything better.”
In her spare time, Nicole is a devoted “cat mom” to three felines and enjoys writing, photography, traveling and perfecting her acoustic guitar skills. She also actively supports the Canadian Mental Health Association and her local food bank.
