Since 1999, Chateau Marmutt has been servicing West Hollywood’s pets in high style. Their staff are professsionals, they separate dogs by size and temperament, and their health-conscious dog park and amenities ensure that your dog gets “the best air, the cleanest floor and the freshest water.” The name is pretty great, too.
With locations in Culver City and West LA, this bright, clean doggy daycare features a dog park set up in front of doggie cams, so you never have to be away from your pets. The minis have their own special place to play with doggy toys, and you can also take your pup to the Style Bar for a thorough bath, brush and grooming.
“I take my husky to CityDog! because it’s close, it’s clean, the people are friendly, and they have grooming services on site. They also have web-enabled cameras, so you can watch your pooch from anywhere – even your phone!” - Allen Vance, Chief Information Officer at The Agency
In addition to featuring the cutest Facebook page and pups on the planet, The Club Beverly Hills is THE spot to bring your dog for the royal treatment in West Hollywood (it’s right on the border of Beverly Hills). Their slogan is “No One Has More Fun Than Club Dogs” – and this members-only daycare backs it up with first-class service.
4. D Pet Hotels
With locations in Chelsea (NYC), Scotsdale (AZ), and here in Hollywood, D Pet Hotels is like a boutique hotel for dogs. They offer “modern 5 star luxury” dog boarding, walks, grooming and amenities for your furry companions while you’re away. Their rooms actually look like hotel rooms – you’ll pay a premium, but be impressed.
5. Go Dog LA
Go Dog LA is a huge open indoor and outdoor space without cages or dog runs. They give your pets plenty of room to exercise and make friends. The outdoor yards offer sun, shade, pools and jungle gyms, and dogs here get plenty of doting attention. Go Dog is conveniently located off the 10 freeway, just east of the 110.
This is the go-to doggie daycare for the Eastside. Calling themselves a “holistic center” (very Silver Lake) with an emphasis on healthy living for your pets, Wagville offers daycare, boarding, grooming, training and a great web cam.
7. Puppy Luv
With friendly staff and a convenient location in Westwood, not far from the 405 and 10 freeways, Puppy Luv offers grooming salon services, doggy daycare, training, pet toys & gifts and overnight stays.
Pour La Pooch is located right near The Grove, so you can drop off your pooch and pick him up after a day of shopping. This doggy daycare just opened a new 1100 Square Foot indoor dog park. Pour La Pooch also features an excellent Grooming Salon & Boutique, open every day except Sunday.
Whether you opt for their Clean & Green Wash or their Safe & Sound Daycare/Board (or both), you can rest assured that your pup will receive tender treatment at this doggy daycare. This Mid City spot has been taking care of neighborhood pups for years, and the owner is a serious dog lover. The rates aren’t bad, either.
Toni’s sits on South Flower Street in Downtown LA, and it’s getting more and more popular as the city center becomes more pedestrian and dog friendly. They even offer “Buddy rates” if you solicit their services with other dogs from your building; it’s a good excuse to get to know your neighbors!
