Let’s face it, life isn’t always easy, but it can be pretty sweet when you indulge in one of Cookie Good’s fun-infused confections. You may have seen some of their goodies for sale at Santa Monica Seafood and Greens Up! on Montana, but this spring, bakers-extraordinaire Ross and Melanie Canter will launch their first ever brick and mortar shop at Wilshire and 25th Street.
If you’ve not yet tried one of their Birthday Cake or Brown Sugar and Cinnamon cookies, you’re definitely in for a treat that will take you back to your childhood days. The dubiously flavored Pancakes and Bacon cookie will literally keep you running back for more. The name is deceiving – these are not just “cookies” but literally food for your soul.
These works of art are created with only the best ingredients, including fine Belgian chocolate from Callebaut & Guittard, Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon pure vanilla, and AA sweet creamery butter, just to name a few. Frankly, it doesn’t get much more indulgent, delicious or decadent. Though we don’t have a confirmed opening date (website says late spring), we’ll be patiently waiting with our mouths watering.
