TAKE the kids HERE → The Discovery Cube Museum, a 71,000 square foot campus offering interactive exhibits and plenty of hands-on activities for the curious at heart. The grand opening is set for Thursday, November 13th.
PARTAKE IN → Hungry For Tokyo Restaurant Month, a 30-day effort to raise culinary tourism. Los Angeles, along with New York, was chosen as a host city and will be serving up Tokyo-inspired food and dishes. The 21 participating restaurants include the popular Katsu-Ya group, Superba in Venice, and Sushi Roku in Santa Monica, the latter of which made our Top 10 list of Best Sushi in LA. The more you participate (eat), the better chance you have of winning a trip to Tokyo!
DO THIS → Downtown LA’s Annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. Whether you sign-up for the 5k or 10k, there’ll be plenty of time after the race to prep the turkey and watch football.
ATTEND THIS → The Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Awards on Wednesday, November 19th, at the base of the famous shopping boulevard. The recipient of this year’s award in fashion and style goes to Burberry, the original purveyor of the “Haymarket Check” pattern. Stick around after the speeches to celebrate Burberry’s new 3-story flagship store on Via Rodeo and see the brand’s latest looks.

GO HERE → AFI Fest, the American Film Institute’s annual celebration of international cinema from modern masters and emerging filmmakers. Showings will be held at various venues including the Dolby Theatre, Egyptian Theatre and the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
