Top 3 Restaurants In LA For Closing A Deal

by | Jul 21, 2015

What do Bouchon, Bottega Louie and Hinoki & The Bird all have in common? According to a recent article, these are the best restaurants in town when it comes to closing a deal outside of the office. A total of 20 eateries were featured in the “Power Table Index”, a list of the top twenty tables in the country where many of the leading people in business choose to seal deals, maintain relationships and celebrate their successes.

These results certainly rang true for The Agency’s Paul Lester, who interestingly enough experienced important milestones involving the same transaction at all three locations. After first being introduced to the seller at Bouchon, Paul later met with his client for dinner at Hinoki & The Bird—where he coincidentally spoke with two potential buyers—then eventually celebrated the sale of the home at Bottega Louie.

Here’s a deeper look into LA’s best restaurants to close a deal.

Bouchon, Beverly Hills

Helmed by Chef Thomas Keller, who is the first American male chef to be designated a Chevalier of The French Legion of Honor (the highest decoration in France), Bouchon’s quintessential bistro fare is as elegant as its interiors, which boast a beautiful pewter bar, hand-painted murals and second floor terrace overlooking the Beverly Canon Gardens. He is also the first and only American-born chef to hold multiple three-star ratings from the famous Michelin Guide, so you can trust that his award-winning food will not disappoint.bottegalouie

Featuring a 255 seat dining room, this downtown Italian eatery caters to those “looking to score a sophisticated meal at a moderate price,” says Zagat. While its menu may look modest, the restaurant is sure to deliver a memorable meal. Once finished, you can send your client home with the “Macaron of the Month” or an array of other sweet and savory treats that tempt from the pastry case.

The Japanese cuisine at this Century City hideaway continues to attract a devout power lunch and business dinner crowd. Though prices may be on the higher end, any foodie client will appreciate the restaurant’s “colorful kaleidoscope” of bright flavors and beautifully presented plates.
