Volunteers from The Agency, along with friends and family, stepped away from their weekend activities July 11 to clean up the Malibu shoreline.
Socks, shoes, beer bottles, fast-food bags and cigarettes were among the items fished out of the ocean and picked up on the beach by our volunteers throughout the afternoon.
The cleanup did not go unnoticed. As The Agency volunteers walked up the Pacific Coast Highway to the Malibu Pier, they picked up some local volunteers and continued down the beach.
The Agency will continue to host beach cleanups in Venice and the greater L.A. and Malibu areas.
