EAT HERE ONE LAST TIME → Dominick’s, the 67-year-old Italian-American staple in West Hollywood, is shutting its doors on Dec. 20. The hideaway on Beverly Blvd. catered to celebrity clientele and was a favored watering hole for Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack. You’ll most likely catch us mourning the loss of this local legend with five o’clock meetings at the bar. Now, where’s my martini?

imageDO THISIce skating, yes you can go ice skating outdoors in L.A. even if it is 80 degrees out. Just because we have beautiful weather almost year-round, doesn’t mean we want to miss out on the winter fun. From downtown to Santa Monica, you and your family have many rinks to choose from to practice all your best ice dancing moves. Most rinks are open now through mid-January.

GO HEREMr. Greentree’s new location, 8950 Sunset Blvd., will open on Nov. 27. The new space will feature a variety of festive plantlife, from 16-foot Noble Firs to customized wreaths, and handpicked trees from the family farms in Washington and Oregon.

Toast to a day of shopping on the world’s second most expensive street, Rodeo Drive. The Tiffany Twisted at sidebar, is inspired by the Eagles classic “Hotel California,” includes St-Germain, Aperol and topped off with rosé bubbles.

CELEBRATE HANUKKAH HEREThe Hanukkah Family Festival at the Skirball Cultural Center on Dec. 13, features music, dance, crafts and tasty Hanukkah treats. Entertainment this year features Noah Shalom and Brendan Brandt, the Bazaar Ensemble, S.H.I.N.E. Mawusi West African dance and drumming, GRAMMY-nominated singer, Lisa Loeb and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles.

Night 1 features Disclosure, Halsey and Weezer to name a few, while night 2 Elle King, Fall Out Boy, The 1975 and more hit the stage. Both nights benefit local charities Para Los Niños and the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center. Purchase tickets here.
