ABC’s Nightline On How The Agency Makes Movies To Move Real Estate

by | Dec 4, 2015

The Agency’s Mauricio Umansky, Co-Founder and CEO,  David Parnes and James Harris, stars of Million Dollar Listing LA, were recently spotlighted on ABC’s Nightline for The Agency’s innovative approach to marketing multi-million dollar luxury real estate. Gone are the days of flyers and open house signs, instead savvy high-end real estate investors and homeowners alike expect more.

Mauricio and The Agency hire top production teams to create mini-movies at the average price of $18-$20k a movie – like the one produced for 200 Delfern Drive in Holmby Hills. Complete with scenarios and scripts, actors and models, the movies are designed from start to finish to attract a potential homeowner and pique the interest beyond what a website or traditional marketing piece can do.

“It’s all about the lifestyle,” said Mauricio. “It’s imperative that potential buyers from all over the globe have access to luxury real estate through this lens, but more importantly, that they can envision themselves living in the home. The films show how the estates flow and are designed to give the viewer a different perspective from what they would traditionally expect.”
