Huff Post’s “ManUPrising” Q&A With The Agency’s Santiago Arana

by | Jan 8, 2016

As part of a new social initiative that shares the inspiring stories of successful men, The Agency’s own Santiago Arana is first up in The Huffington Post’s ManUPrising interview series launched this week. Since arriving in California 13 years ago, unable to speak English and with only $120 to his name, Santiago now holds the esteemed position of Principal and Managing Partner at The Agency’s Brentwood branch and is one of the top producing real estate agents in the country with sales totaling over $300 million.

In this candid interview, Santiago opens up about his experience moving to the states with big dreams, how he achieved them, and what he’s learned in both his professional and personal life along the way. Among Santiago’s nuggets of wisdom and honesty:

HP: What would you say to men who want to achieve what you have?

Santiago: Get clear on what it is you think I have that you want. Be specific. Then set your goals and go achieve it. You have to have a direction. You cannot get into a taxi and say I don’t know where I want to go. You will go nowhere, and it will cost you a lot of money. You have to be clear on what it is that you want to achieve, get organized, schedule and get the support you need to achieve it.
