Design World’s A Street Af(Fair) Pops Up In West Hollywood

by | Apr 25, 2016

This year, Parachute Market is starting up a new affair with West Hollywood Design District (WHDD) to host A Street Af(Fair): East Meets West on April 30. The partners are bringing a classic European-style bazaar to the streets of West Hollywood, in honor of two prominent Southern California design movements: European-inspired Hollywood glamor and California Modernism.

This collaboration will bring together Los Angeles’s Eastside and Westside design communities, to meet in the heart of West Hollywood Design District, bringing the best of each neighborhood’s eco-conscious designs, live music and gourmet food. The outdoor marketplace will showcase the creations of talented local and international designers, makers and artists. From indie shops to luxury boutiques, vendors will offer an array of crafts: decorative objects, household tools, new and vintage furniture, fashionable apparel and accessories, and more. The eclectic selection is expected to draw crowds equally as diverse, from art enthusiasts to eco-conscious consumers all hunting for gems to satisfy varied tastes.

The fair will be held on North Almont Drive, between Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard, from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday, April 30.
